DataCamp.com Review

UPDATE: September 16, 2019

I have chosen to suspend my support of DataCamp.com until further notice. Unfortunately, it came to my attention that the company is involved with a sexual harassment situation of one of its founders and a worker. It appears the company chose to cover the story up instead of acting with integrity and taking appropriate action. During the time of the controversy, the company did not alert me to this situation which leads me to believe that the information about covering up the situation is true.

Here are resources to learn more about it.

The CEO involved with the sexual misconduct did not deny any allegations. Also, in the Vice article included here, he states that he failed to be transparent about what he had done.

It's a shame that the entire data science community has to suffer as Data Camp has created an incredible resource for people to learn. It sets the industry back, especially those looking to learn from this invaluable resource.

I will be working hard over the next couple of months to publish recommended alternatives.
